STRAWBERRY SHORTILLA

1 1/2 cups sugar, divided use

1 (8 ounce) container whipped topping, thawed

Add 1 cup sugar to strawberries and let sit 20 to 30 minutes.

Place one tortilla circle on a plate. Top with 1/2 cup strawberries. Place another tortilla circle on top and top with 1/2 cup more strawberries. Top with a large dollop of whipped topping.
