Recipe: Basil-Parmesan Pizza (bread machine dough cycle)

Pizza/Focaccia
BASIL-PARMESAN PIZZA

"A veggie lover's dream, topped with green pepper, red onion, tomato, and mozzarella. This pizza looks as good as it tastes. Recipe can be prepared in all-size machines."

1 1/2 POUND RECIPE:
1 cup water
2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups bread flour
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon sweet basil
2 teaspoons Fleischmann's Bread Machine Yeast
1 tablespoon cornmeal

Add 1 cup water, oil, salt, bread flour, cheese, basil, and yeast to bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough/manual cycle.

When cycle is complete, remove dough from machine to a lightly floured surface. If necessary, knead in enough flour to make dough easy to handle.

Grease pizza pan (see tip below for pan size) and sprinkle with cornmeal. Roll out dough and place on pan or pat dough in pan. Top with green pepper, red onion, tomato and mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 425 degrees F for 15 to 25 minutes or until done. Pizza is done when edges of crust are golden and cheese is bubbly.

PIZZA PAN TIP:
Bake your pizza in any of the pan sizes listed below.

1 1/2 POUND RECIPE:
Two 12-inch round pans (thin crust)
One 14-inch round pan (thick crust)
One 15 x 10-inch baking sheet (thin crust)

Makes 1 or 2 pizzas
