reminding me about an old favorite.

BBQ Hot Dogs

1 med onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. salad oil
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
salt and pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Drop of Tobasco sauce
12 hot dogs, scored

Lightly brown onion in salad oil. Add combined remaining ingredients, except hot dogs, simmer 15 minutes. Lay hot dogs in sauce and heat through, basting and turning several times. Or place hot dogs in shallow baking dish and pour sauce over them and bake in meoderated oven (375 deg.) for 30 minutes, basting several times.
