Recipe(tried): Bertie's Salad (make ahead layered salad)

Hi, I thought you'd enjoy this salad so here goes..

Bertie's Salad

1/2 head crisp lettuce, chopped small
1 bunch green onions
4 slices bacon, cooked crisp
1 cup frozen peas one cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup mayonnaise

The day before serving:
Put the chopped lettuce on the bottom of a 2-inch deep casserole dish. Fill the dish three-fourths full with the chopped onions, bacon, peas, and cheese (in that order) over the lettuce. Spread mayonnaise over top of cheese to cover. Keep refrigerated.

It's really good.. enjoy .. joy mo.
