Recipe: Buffalo Chicken Wing Sampler (Tex-Mex, Asian and Sweet 'n Spicy:)

Appetizers and Snacks
BUFFALO CHICKEN WING SAMPLER

2 1/2 lbs. chicken wing pieces
Oil (if frying)
1/2 cup Frank's RedHot Sauce (cayenne pepper sauce)
1/3 cup melted butter
Sampler Seasonings (below, optional)
celery and blue cheese dressing (for serving)

Deep-fry wings in hot oil (400 degrees F) for 12 minutes until fully cooked and crispy; drain. (For equally crispy wings, bake 1 hour at 425 degrees, or grill 30 minutes over medium heat.)

Combine Frank's RedHot Sauce and butter. Dip wings in sauce to coat.

Serve with celery and blue cheese dressing.

SAMPLER SEASONINGS
Add one of the following to butter mixture; heat through:

Tex-Mex:
1 tbsp. chili powder; 1/4 tsp. garlic powder.

Asian:
2 tbsp. honey, 2 tbsp. teriyaki sauce, 2 tsp. ground ginger. Before serving, sprinkle wings with 1 tbsp. sesame seeds.

Sweet 'n Spicy:
1/4 cup orange juice concentrate, 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon.

Makes 8 appetizers
