Recipe: Caramel Rice Krispie Treats

CARAMEL RICE KRISPIE TREATS
1/4 c. margarine
4 c. mini marshmallows
4 c. Rice Krispies
2ND LAYER:
1 stick margarine
1 can Eagle brand milk
1 bag Kraft caramels
3RD LAYER:
1/4 c. margarine
4 c. mini marshmallows
4 c. Rice Krispies
Melt margarine and marshmallows in the microwave. Add Rice Krispies. Press into buttered cookie sheet. Melt 1 stick margarine, Eagle brand milk and caramels in microwave. Pour over 1st layer. Place in refrigerator for 40 minutes. Repeat 1st layer.

CARAMEL RICE KRISPIE BARS
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. miniature marshmallows
1 1/2 c. margarine
12 c. Rice Krispies
1 pkg. caramels
1 can Eagle Brand milk
Sm. jar marshmallow creme
Melt 2 (10 ounce) packages miniature marshmallows with 1 cup margarine. Add 12 cups Rice Krispies. In separate pan, melt together 1 package caramels, 1 can Eagle Brand milk and 1/2 cup margarine. Spread 1/2 Rice Krispie mixture in 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread small jar marshmallow cream over this mixture. Pour caramel mixture over this and top with the remainder of the Rice Krispies. Let set before cutting.

CARAMEL RICE KRISPIE BARS
2 pkgs. miniature marshmallows
3/4 c. butter, divided
10 c. Rice Krispies
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
1 (13 oz.) can condensed milk (Eagle
Brand)
Melt 2 packages marshmallows with 1/2 cup butter. Mix with cereal. Pack 2/3 of the mixture into 10"x15" jelly roll pan. Melt caramels with condensed milk and remaining 1/4 cup butter. Pour over mixture in pan. Pat remaining 1/3 cereal mixture on top of caramel. Can dampen hands to spread cereal. Refrigerate. Cut into bars.
