it's really a good book. the "chinese cinderella", however, is written for young adults. i believe you will enjoy this falling leaves as much as we did.

i also read "Bridget Jones's Diary" & Bridget Jones, Edge of Reason". these 2 are much light-hearted. they are funny but when you read to certain parts, the stories could get a bit slow. nevertheless, they are still the kind of books that could cheer you up. a friend of mine in uk has watched the movie and raved about it. i think i will do that after i settle down.
