Recipe: Cereal Kisses (meringue cookies using Fruit Loops cereal)

CEREAL KISSES

1/4 teaspoon salt
2 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract or grated orange rind
3 cups Froot Loops cereal

Add salt to egg whites and beat until foamy throughout. Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating after each addition until sugar is blended in. Continue beating until mixture will stand in peaks.

Add extract or orange rind; fold in cereal gently. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.

Bake in 350 degree F oven for 15 minutes.
