PECAN PICK UPS
FOR THE CRUST:
1 (3 oz) pkg Phiadelphia cream cheese, softened
1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine, softened
1 cup flour
FOR THE FILLING:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
TO PREPARE THE CRUST:
Mix cream cheese, margarine and flour together until smooth. Form into 24 balls and chill.
Place in small size muffins pans ans press firmly around the sides and bottom to form a pastry-like shell.
TO PREPARE THE FILLING:
Mix filling ingredients together well. Put 1 teaspoon filling in each shell.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
Makes 24
