SoupsADVERTISEMENT
Cheryl, here's that recipe-typing it made me hungry for it, wish I could find the Campbells soup!! Thanks for your replies!-Micha
Chili Beef Soup using Campbells Fiesta Chili Beef Soup
1 lb lean ground beef (or ground turkey or chicken)
1 Tablespoon butter, margarine, or oil (or less or cooking spray for browning meat)
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 cans Campbells Condensed Fiesta Chili Beef Soup (come to think of it, since I have been unable to find it since it became "Fiesta", I haven't made this recipe, I made it with Campbells Condensed Chili Beef soup!)
2 soup cans water
1 can stewed tomatoes (regular or Mexican-style)
1 Tablespoon flour
1 cup sour cream
1 Tablespoon chili powder
Brown meat in desired manner. Add onion soup mix, Campbells Fiesta Chili Beef Soup, water and stewed tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir flour into sour cream. Stir sour cream mixture along with chili powder into chili. Simmer for 5 minutes. Do not boil after addition of sour cream. This makes a very rich chili. I served this with sides of chopped onions, shredded cheese and Fritos or tortilla chips. Enjoy!
