Recipe(tried): Chinese Smokey Ribs (Mr Meat Smoker Recipe Booklet - circa 1984)

Main Dishes - Pork, Ham
CHINESE SMOKEY RIBS

6 lbs spareribs
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp MSG
3/4 tsp tumeric
1/4 tsp celery seed
1/4 tsp dry mustard

Rub the ribs with this rub and let stand 1-2 hours.

Smoke cook 4-6 hours with full pan of charcoal and 4-6 wood chunks (I use hickory). Brush with sauce last few minutes of cooking

SAUCE:
3/4 cup catsup
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp liquid smoke
2 cloves garlic minced
