Recipe: Circus Peanut Jell-O Recipe

Hi Jane, Saw your request for jello recipe and wondered if this is recipe.

7 ozs. (about 30) Spangler's orange circus
peanuts
l (6 oz.) pkg. orange flavored gelatin
l (16 oz.) can of mandarin oranges drained
2 cups boiling water
l 3/4 cups of mandarin orange syrup
and cold water
2 cups of whipped topping

Cut orange circus peanuts into small pieces. Dissolve the orange gelatin in the boiling water. Add pieces of circus peanuts, stirring until dissolved. Drain the syrup from the mandarin oranges, adding enough cold water to equal l 3/4 cups. Add to gelatin; chill until partially set Stir together the mandarin oranges and whipped topping; fold into the gelatin mixture. Pour mixture into a 13x9 pan. Chill until firm. Yields: 18 (3 oz.) servings.
