Recipe: Onion Bread (batter bread), Onion Bread and Onion Soup Bread (for bread machine)

1/2 cup grated onion
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
2 1/2 cup unbleached white flour
1/4 cup vegetable oil
In a bowl, mix onion and salt. Add yeast dissolved that has been dissolved in the 1/2 cup warm water. Stir in flour and oil. Beat well.
Spoon the dough into an oiled loaf pan and let the dough rise to the top of the pan.
Baked in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for 1 hour.

2 cups white bread flour
1 1/2 tbsp dry milk
1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup onions, dried
1/2 tbsp onion paste
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp poppy seeds
1 tsp yeast, fast rise or machine (or 2 tsp active dry yeast)
Select BAKE Cycle.

1 large egg
1/2 cup sour cream
3 cups bread flour
1 tbsp butter or margarine
1 tbsp sugar
2 1/2 tbsp dry onion soup mix
1 1/2 tsp yeast
Place all ingredients in bread pan and select Light crust.
