Recipe: Coca Cola Barbecue Sauce

Here's a barbeque sauce using Coca Cola:

THICK BBQ SAUCE

2 med. size onions, chopped fine
3/4 c. coca cola
3/4 ketchup
2 T. vinegar
2 T. worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. chili powder (or more if you like)
1/3 t. salt

Combine ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 45 minutes or until the sauce is very thick. Stir occasionally.

Yields: 2 c.
