I got this recipe from a co-worker in 2002. I don't know where she found it. It's really good and easy and tastes like the old Cooker biscuits.
COOKER'S DROP BISCUITS
2 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup milk
Measure dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix together. Add melted butter and mix to incorporate. Add milk and mix to combine. Drop golf ball size spoonfuls of dough on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 18-20 minutes. Makes about 12 biscuits.
