Recipe: Cranberry Cookies

Hi George - This is a wonderful cookie.
ALASKAN RUBIES
(Cranberry Cookies)
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 egg
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. each soda and salt
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. cranberry halves
Cream sugar and margarine. Beat in eggs. Sift and add
dry ingredients. Mix in oats, cranberries and rind. Shape
into small balls. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake 12
minutes at 375 degrees.
