Recipe(tried): Frosted Banana Bars

This is a wonderful, easy dessert!

Frosted Banana Bars

1/2 butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 ripe bananas
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour (I use 1/2 white, 1/2 whole wheat)
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 350.

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and bananas. Mix soda and salt with flour and add to creamed mixture. Pour into greased 10" X 15" pan. Bake 25 minutes. Cool.

Frost with:

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 8oz pkg. cream cheese
4 cups of powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla.
