Recipe(tried): Gingerbread houses for pre-schoolers and early El.

Holidays, Celebrations
For little ones that you plan to pre-build the houses for use graham crackers. By heating via the microwave in a moist paper towel the crackers will cut easily into shapes of peaked front and back. Trim the top of one rectangle at the peak removing a triangle at either side. THis is the front and back. The side is a square (these become managable for little ones to complete and be sucessfull. Using the recipe of 1 pasteurized egg white, 1 2/3 cup powdered sugar and 1/2 tsp. of cream of tartar will allow you to mix it up while in the class...fill lunch bags for moms to help with and put more candy on where the child decides. Be sure to have them select their candy choices before allowing them to build on. Parents are usually willing to work with 3-5 children. Good luck..
