TWISTED GREEK COOKIES
(Koulouria)
6 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 stick butter
6 tsp. baking powder
pinch of soda
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. Crisco
1 orange, juiced
1 tsp. vanilla
6 c. flour
Mix eggs and sugar. Add oil, melted Crisco and butter.
Add orange juice, baking powder, vanilla, soda and flour as
needed. Mix so you're able to roll on table. If the cookies
become too hard, put less flour next time. Roll out about 8
inches in length and put end together and twist. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
