ISO: Greek Almond Cookies

Coming up on Easter time in the Greek area we live in is a treat! The bakeries bring out their best including a 1 & 1/2 inch round ALMOND COOKIE which is usually piped into shape with a scalloped twist. And the finishing touch is a whole almond set on top.

I've lost the recipe I cut out of the paper years ago and wondered if anyone know's it? THANKS!
