Recipe(tried): Here is another very easy alternative

PUMPKIN CRISP
l lg can pumpkin
1 cup milk
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 t ginger
3 eggs beaten
1/2 t salt
1 t cinnamon
1/4 t ground cloves

TOPPING;

1 box yellow cake mix
3/4 c chopped nuts (more if desired)
1 1/2 cubes melted butter

combine first eight ingredients and put in greased 9 x 13 pan. then sprinkle dry cake mix over pumpkin mixture. Pour butter over cake mix. sprinkle chopped nuts on top. bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean when inserted into pumpkin mixture.
