Recipe: Here's Looking At You Yummies (dipped candies using Rice Krispies)

HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU YUMMIES

1/2 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
2 Tbsp. butter, softened
3/4 to 1 cup powdered sugar, divided use
1 1/4 cups crisp rice cereal
1 M&M's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Baking Bits, divided use
4 squares (2 oz. each) almond bark
Red decorating gel

Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper and set aside.

Using a large bowl, combine peanut butter and butter. Stir in 1/2 cup powdered sugar until well blended. Stir in cereal and 1 cup chocolate baking bits. Stir in 1/4 cup powdered sugar. If mixture is too sticky, stir in remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar.

Shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls. Place on prepared cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Line another cookie sheet with waxed paper and set aside.

Melt almond bark according to package directions. Dip balls into almond bark, one at a time, gently shake off excess. Place treat on cookie sheet.

Decorate with remaining 1/4 cup chocolate mini baking bits and decorating gel to look like eyes. Store in a tightly covered container.

Makes 2 dozen
