Recipe: Thick Chocolate Sauce and Instant Chocolate Sauce (Waring blender recipe, 1960's)

"Serve on ice cream and puddings. Makes a good base for chocolate drinks."
Into container put:
4 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate, cut into pieces
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup hot milk, cream, or coffee
1 teaspoon vanilla
Dash salt
Cover and blend on high speed for 20 seconds.
Store in refrigerator.
Makes 1 3/4 cups

1/4 cup hot water, or coffee
Cover and blend On high speed for 20 seconds, or until smooth.
Makes 1 cup
