Recipe(tried): Hope I'm not too late on the Mexican Dip
Misc.Ellen,
An easy layered Mexican dip has become a fast favorite of mine because of the ease:
1 pkg Taco Seasoning minced ripe olives to suit
8 oz sour cream minced tomatoes, green onions, lettuce, etc.
8 oz cream cheese
1 can refried beans
1 jar salsa
Mix 1 pkg taco seasoning with 8 oz sour cream and 8 oz cream cheese. Spread in the bottom of flat bottom dish, larger than a pie plate (I use a square casserole about 9 inches square). Refrigerate 1 hour to set up.
Spread 1 can refried beans as next layer.
Then top with jar of salsa, and layer whatever else you'd like, such as minced ripe olives, tomatoes, green onions, lettuce, chilis.
