Recipe: Hot Beef Sandwiches au Jus (crock pot)
SandwichesHOT BEEF SANDWICHES AU JUS
1 (4 to 5 lb) rump roast, trimmed
1 package dry onion soup mix
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 cans condensed beef broth
1 can beer
2 garlic cloves, minced
16 onion buns
Place beef roast in crock pot. In medium bowl, combine all remaining ingredients except buns; mix well. Pour over roast.
Cover; cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
Slice or shred beef. Serve in buns. If desired, skim fat from juices. Serve sandwiches with individual portions of meat juices for dipping.
