Recipe: How to Make Vegetable and Fruit Juices in a Blender (Waring, 1960's)
Beverages WARING BLENDER VEGETABLE AND FRUIT JUICES

METHOD: Blend fruit or vegetable with specified amount of water (listed below) on hi-speed for 1 minute.
Strain into glasses or pitcher, pressing any resulting puree in the sieve with the back of a spoon to extract all the liquid. Serve well chilled.
APPLE JUICE:
1 apple (6 ounces), cut into eighths
1 cup water
Makes 1 1/2 cups apple juice
CARROT JUICE:
3 carrots, coarsely cut
3/4 cup water
Makes 1 cup carrot juice
CELERY JUICE:
2 large stalks celery with leaves, coarsely cut
3/4 cup water
Makes 1 1/2 cups celery juice
COCONUT MILK:
1 cup diced fresh coconut
2 cups water
Makes 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
CUCUMBER JUICE:
1 cucumber, coarsely cut
1/2 cup water
Makes 1 1/2 cups cucumber juice
GRAPE JUICE:
1 cup green seedless grapes
1 cup water
Makes 1 3/4 cups grape juice
PARSLEY JUICE:
1 cup parsley, firmly packed cut stems and clusters (1/2 bunch)
1 1/2 cups water
Makes 1 1/2 cups parsley juice
PINEAPPLE JUICE:
2 cups diced fresh pineapple
1 cup water
Makes 2 cups pineapple juice
SPINACH OR WATERCRESS JUICE:
1 cup spinach or watercress, firmly packed cut stems and clusters
(1/2 bunch)
1 1/2 cups water
Makes 1 1/2 cups spinach or watercress juice
STRAWBERRY JUICE:
1 pint hulled strawberries (about 30 medium)
2 cups water
Make 3 1/2 cups strawberry juice
