Recipe(tried): Carrabba's White Sangria (authentic recipe)

Carrabba's White Sangria is my most favorite drink in the world. One evening I asked the bartender for the recipe, and much to my surprise, he gave it to me! To make a pitcher:

1 bottle of Bella Sera Pinot Grigio (any pinot grigio with flavor [some are watery and tasteless] will work. I have used the inexpensive Barefoot brand and it is great.
4 ounces Korbel brandy (I have used other brands as well)
6 ounces of Monin White Sangria syrup/mix*

Pour all the ingredients into a pitcher and blend. Pour over ice and garnish with lemon, lime and orange slices.

*I have never actually found the Monin syrup in any store (it can be ordered on-line www.monin.com). It is essentially just a simple syrup, so I make my own:

SIMPLE SYRUP:
In a saucepan, add one cup of sugar, one cup of water; break two cinnamon sticks in half and add. Bring this mixture to a boil until all the sugar is dissolved. Let cool. Can be stored in a covered jar (with the cinnamon sticks) in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Also, use bagged ice - clear and so much prettier than cloudy home cubes.
