Recipe(tried): Lemonade

Misc.
Here's an easy lemonade recipe. We have an abundance of lemons here in Arizona so I make gallons of this during the citrus season. It was published in our newspaper last year.

Wash two lemons, cut off the ends and bad spots, and slice thinly, leaving rinds on. Put in a blender with 1 cup sugar and 2 cups water. Blend at high speed until slushy. Pour through a strainer into a large container. Pour 5 cups more water over the stuff in the strainer. Discard strainer contents. Stir lemonade and add ice as needed. Makes about 8 cups.
