Recipe(tried): Mandarin Orange Salad with Caramelized Pecans

This salad is special with the caramelized pecans. What a tasty bit!

Mandarin Orange Salad:
1/2-3/4 head of shredded lettuce
4 green onions & tops chopped
1 can mandarin oranges - drained
1 tbsp. dried parsely flakes

Caramelized Pecans:
1/2 cup pecans
2 tbsp. sugar
Stir sugar and pecans over low heat until the sugar melts and collects on the pecans.

Dressing:
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup salad oil
2 tbsp. vinegar

Shake dressing ingredients. Toss together dressing and salad just before serving. Garnish with Caramelized Pecans.
