Recipe: Marinated Artichoke Hearts (using frozen artichoke hearts, 1960's)

"Cooked artichoke hearts, thoroughly chilled in a savory dressing, for serving as first course or salad."
1 (9 ounce) package frozen artichoke hearts
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons wine vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
Dash of fresh black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon chopped chives
2 tablespoons chopped pimiento
2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
Dash of paprika
Cook artichoke hearts as directed on package. Drain. Place in bowl and refrigerate.
Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients. Pour over chilled artichoke hearts. Let stand in refrigerator to marinate at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
MAKE-AHEAD HINT:
Make early in the morning or the night before, if desired. Flavors blend as appetizer chills.
Makes 4 servings
