Recipe(tried): Mom's Oriental Chicken Wings (baked, 1970's)

Appetizers and Snacks
These are the best Chicken Wings!

MOM'S ORIENTAL CHICKEN WINGS

2 large packages of chicken wings, skin on
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup water
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ginger

Mix up the marinade in a super large bowl, big enough to accommodate the wings and large enough to cover wings with a plate pressed down into the marinade. The wings must be completely covered in marinade.

Refrigerate the chicken over night in the marinade (at least 18 hours)

The next day, bake wings on foil lined cookie sheet or sheets if you need more than one at 325 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours, or maybe a bit longer.

Recipe from Mom's Chinese Cooking Class 1970's.
