Recipe(tried): Nancy, more burger ideas...

Misc.
If you can stand one more burger idea? I, like Gina, buy only ground sirloin for burgers, because it seems to have the correct amount of lean/fat ratio to make a top-notch burger. A couple of years ago, someone told me about adding a package of Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing to 2lbs of meat. I've started doing this, along with about 1/4 cup of ice water, (ice is very important, keeps the fat cold, therefore in your meat, not on your hands) and mixing very lightly. Just enough to mix throughly. Form your patties, then I sprinkle with garlic salt, pepper and worstechire sauce and grill. We find these very tasty. I put the b'day cake because this is my husbands favorite meal, and what he asks me to fix for his Birthday, served with cheese, tomato, onion and mustard on his burger, potato chips, ice cold Coke and chocolate cake. Is he not easy or what????
