Recipe(tried): Pistachio Almond Apricot Cranberry Cookie Thins (re: Almondinas)

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
I posted about these cookies on my blog, Pragmatic Attic (Pistachio Almond Apricot Cranberry Cookie Thins).

The first time that I successfully cloned the almondina, I followed a recipe for mandelbrot from RecipeCottage. If you add raisins to the Recipe Cottage recipe, it is just like Almondinas.

The almond apricot craisin version is adapted from the Baking Obsession blog where it is described as an Australian recipe. There are also versions of this recipe on the Jewish Food List under the name Australian Mandelbread. The almondina are just a particular variation on the Jewish cookie Mandelbread or Mandelbrodt or Mandelbrod.

If you have more questions, you can leave a comment on my blog.
