Recipe(tried): Popcorn Santas

An idea for people trying to raise money for groups, clubs or food banks around Christmas. We made giant popcorn balls and fashioned snowmen from them with licorice allsorts eyes, licorice strawberry sticks for noses etc. We also bought party hats for them to wear. Then we wrapped them in cello wrap - they were about four feet high - and they were auctioned off. A giant one was the door prize and he was 6 feet tall! We raised more than $5,000 for the food bank and popcorn balls are created relatively inexpensively so our costs were low. Happy creating!
