Recipe: Recipes/ideas for people with braces

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
Our daughter got her braces in April, 2007. There are quite a few recipes we have tried. For snacks she eats - yogurt, oatmeal, ice cream (in small amounts), she will lightly toast a bagel and eat this with peanut butter etc, she used to eat lots of soups at first for her meals and as a snack she would heat up a bowl too, applesauce was a favourite too, she will cut up an apple into wedges and eat it, she likes oranges and melons - watermelon, cantelope etc. cut into chunks. As long as it was cut up and easy to chew (soft) it should be ok. It took awhile but our daughter now eats pretty much anything she used to with the exceptions that the doctor gave us. Hope this helps.
