Rolled Sugar Cookies

They are the easiest cookies I have ever rolled out. I sprinkle the dough the first time around with flour and then keep all the scraps together to roll at the end so you only reroll them once. Then before rolling them sprinkle with powdered sugar instead of flour. They have a delicious flavor. You do not have to chill the dough first.

Happy Holidays!

4 sticks butter or margarine, room temp.
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. baking powder
6 cups flour

Cream butter and sugar together, add vanilla and eggs, mix well. Mix flour and Baking powder well, and add to the other ingredients. No chilling necessary. Roll out dough on floured surface.

Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or depending on the softness you desire. You may have to experiment with the first batch to get your exact baking time down.
