Recipe(tried): Strawberry Fig Recipe Advice

Preserving - Jams, Jellies
I have been canning strawbery-fig preserves for the last 7 years with this method... It works very well..I process my figs in a blender to measure it by cups... I use a 3 cup of fig to 1 cup sugar ratio so I can work with whatever quanity of figs I have... I cook them for 45 minutes at a good simmer then add the jello... I use 1 box of jello for every 4 cups of figs ...add and mix well... allow to simmer for another 15-20 minutes...can as normal processing for about 5-10 minutes The jam will set up in the refrigerator before you use it I have had many compliments and the jam seems to have a very good shelf life...hope you enjoy
