Recipe: Winter Jam

Preserving - Jams, Jellies
WINTER JAM

3 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen)
1 1/2 cups apples, peeled and diced
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups crushed pineapple (drained)
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
3 1/2 cups sugar

Cook cranberries and apples in 1 1/2 cups water until clear and tender.

Press through sieve and remove cranberry skins (you should have 3 cups of pulp).

Stir in pineapple, lemon juice and sugar. Boil 6-8 minutes (until thick and clear).

Pour into sterilized jars and process 10 minutes in a boiling water bath.
