Recipe(tried): Strawberry Trifle

Misc.

Strawberry Trifle

Slice 2 quarts of strawberries then add:
3 T Sugar (not powdered sugar)
3 or to taste Amaretto Liqueur
Set aside to marinate

Mix together until smooth:
2 8ozs.pkgs Cream Cheese (softened)
2 cups Powdered sugar
1 cup Sour Cream
1/2 t Vanilla Flavoring
1 t Amaretto Liqueur
Set aside

Whip 1/2 pint whipping cream with:
1 T Amaretto Liqueur
2 T Sugar (do not use powdered sugar)

Fold all mixtures together.

Tear 1 Angel food cake into bite size pieces; add to cream cheese mixture and
fold in only until blended. (Note: Excessive mixing will make the cake break
down and you will have a grainy texture.)

In a trifle dish or pretty clear bown layer mixtures- starting and ending
with the strawberries. (Note: Drain the strawberries or use a slotted
spoon to remove the berries from the juice.)

This is very delicious and makes for a beautiful presentation.
