Recipe(tried): Tartar Sauce (2)

Toppings - Sauces and Gravies
Two recipes. One comes from my Mom from Galveston, TX. It is really good. Also, I am posting a recipe from Ralph & Kacoo's, a restaurant in Baton Rouge, LA. Its good, too.

Tartar Sauce

1 cup mayonnaise
3 Tbsp minced onion
4 Tbsp dill pickles, minced
6 Tbsp celery, minced

Combine all ingredients. Chill several hours before serving. Makes approximately 1 1/2 cups.

Ralph & Kacoo's Tarter Sauce

1 1/4 c chopped onion
2 3/4 c chopped celery
1 c dill pickle relish
3 c Hellman's (Best Foods) mayonnaise

Drain juices from onion, celery and relish. Combine with mayonnaise.
