Recipe: Texas Caviar

Appetizers and Snacks
This for an appetizer, hope that's okay

Texas Caviar
2 (14 oz to 160z) cans black-eyed peas, drained
1/2 cup veg. oil
1/4 cup wine vinegar
1 clove garlic or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup thinly sliced onion
1/2 tsp salt
crackers or tortilla chips

Place peas in pan or bowl. Add oil and the remaining ingred. except crackers or chips. Mix well and store in fridge. Remove garlic after 1 day if whole garlic clove was used. Store at least 2 days or as long as 2 weeks before eating. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
