Recipe(tried): Thanksgiving Dinner Cooking Tips - Marinda, I also use my grill on indirect heat
Holidays, CelebrationsA friend reminded me of this when she was discussing how to prepare Thanksgiving, a wedding and reception party all in the same weekend. When she mentioned some stuff would be warming on the grill with the indriect method I remembered your question. If you have grill, heat just one side and place your casserole (green bean, sweet taters, etc.) on the side not heated. Close grill. This works for me all summer here in hot AZ!-Also, if one of my neighbors we have exchanged keys with is going to be out of town on Thanksgiving I sometimes ask to use their oven as a second oven. -Micha
