Recipe(tried): Michiana's Hacienda Salsa (copycat recipe)

Ok after 4 cans of crushed tomatoes I have something very close. I was also looking for a hacienda type recipe as my wife and I love it. I used to work in a restaurant so i know that this would be a simple and cheap recipe. What I ended up with was not perfect but very close to the hacienda recipe, It may be better after it sits over night like so many other sauces. Anyway...

1/2 tbsp chopped garlic
1/3 white onion (about 1/2 cup chopped)
1 jalapeno, remove seeds
1 tbsp lemon juice
8 to 10 leafs fresh cilantro (leafs not stalks)
3 pinches salt
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes

Fine chop or grind together in food processor everything except the tomatoes. Add to the tomatoes and stir. Ready to go.

Like I said it's very close, So close what I may try next time is lime juice. Play with it, we'll get it.
