MILK CHOCOLATE ORANGE COOKIES
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt, divided use
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon orange juice
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
Zest of 1 orange
3/4 cups milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Sift flour, baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt together; set aside.
In a separate bowl mix to combine sour cream, orange juice and remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt.
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Then, add egg and orange zest. To the butter, sugar, egg mixture, add flour mixture 1/3 at a time, alternating with the sour cream-orange juice mixture. Mix until well combined. Fold in milk chocolate chips.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and scoop 2-inch balls of dough onto it.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool and eat.
