BRIDIE'S IRISH SCONES
2 cups buttermilk baking mix (Bisquic)
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup dried currants
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
sugar (for tops)
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Grease a cookie sheet.
Combine baking mix, raisins, dried currants and sugar in large bowl with wooden spoon. Stir in water until dough is well mixed and sticks together.
Scoop up tablespoons of the mixture and drop onto greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake in a preheated very hot oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 12 scones
