TOASTED ALMOND EGGNOG ICE CREAM
"One of my 'try it, I think it will be good' experiments. Makes a quart and works great in the Krups Ice Cream Maker."
2 cups heavy (whipping) cream, cold
1 3/4 cups eggnog, cold
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
Combine all ingredients in bowl and mix thoroughly. Stir in almonds.
Pour into ice cream maker; process according to manufacturer's directions.
Makes 1 quart
