Recipe(tried): Tom and Jerry

Beverages
This is a recipe that my father made every Christmas. Very spicy and warming!

Tom and Jerry

6 eggs, separated
1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
Tbsp Cinnamon
Tbsp Allspice
Tbsp Nutmeg
Whiskey / Bourbon
Hot Water

Beat egg whites until stiff. Set aside. Beat yolks. Add 1/2 the sugar and spices, beat. Add eggwhites and remaining sugar. Mix thoroughly.

Place a heaping spoonful of mix in a cup. Stir in on shot of whiskey. Fill with boiling water, stirring. Sprinkle top with cinnamon.

Batter can be kept in the refrigerator for about a week.
