Recipe: Ukrainian Cooking - recommendations

Recipe Collections
Hi Denise,

I'm Ukrainian too. Still lucky to have my mom but she won't write the recipes down. So I bought the book Festive Ukrainian Cooking by Marta Pisetska Farley (click here), c1990.

Its really nice as it lists recipes by holiday and gives a background of each holiday.

Also if you go to www.Yevshan.com (click here) (they are a Ukrainian company that sells Ukrainian things) they have lots of Ukrainian cookbooks for sale also. More than Amazon.

Also there are some very good recipes on the following site that I would recommend:

Yonkers Ukrainian Heritage Festival - Recipes (click here)

Hope this helps,

Halyna
