ISO: birds nest cake - Can you help find the recipe?

Just recently I spoke to a woman about a recipe for a cake-it may be called a birdsnest cake? Ingredients were: 1 pkg cooked vanilla pudding (4oz. or 8?), 1 pkg. yellow cake mix, chocolate chips (how much?) and pecans. It went like this: cook the pudding according to pkg. then add the dry cake mix. Pour into 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with choc. chips and pecans and bake (how long?). Can someone help me?
