ISO: Bitters/date balls

Misc.
My mom used to make these chewy confections when I was a kid. They are balls made of (I think) chopped dates and walnuts, flavored with a dash of Angostura bitters, and rolled in confectioner's sugar. I don't think they were baked, like a cooky.
